INSTALATION ERROR - HELP PLEASE!

Hi all

I wanna install SRO (v1_138). And always this error appears:


I already disabled firewall, antivirus...
I already tried to install in safe mode.
I already tried to install with sro official site open.
I already copied into C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc -> hosts this:

127.0.0.1 localhost
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.com
64.152.34.142 joymaxnpro.nefficient.com

I dunno more what to do!!

Can somebody help me? Please?

Same.. I just had a fresh format on my Vista laptop and now I cant install.

Anyone knows something about it?

Y wuld u want to download v1.138 when v1.43 is out ??

Also,
1. rename ur existing Silkroad folder to someother name
2. download the latest client from http://www.silkroadonline.net
3. install.

What happens when u install, do u get the same error as "Sick" gets

1.138 = version of installer
1.143 = version of client to play

im sure that i have the newest installer.
the problem is: he dont install! damn JM _|_

Nywyz, can u try to rename ur existing silkroad folder and clear ur cookies, temp internet files & temp files and check?

truez tks for giving me attention to my problem =)

i've cleaned cookies, temp folders, silkroad files, i cleaned register keys with MVRegclean, EasyCleaner, Advanced Windows Care... and nothing!!

still keep showing the same error =/

im trying to download again the installer client, but take long and i dont think will help =/

any new ideia? what should i do?

i had the same problem installing. I tried several of the installation sites and all of them gave the same message. i went to the actual SRO forums and saw that morningdew posted that there was some problem with ppl installing and that it will be fixed

unfortunately for some people it cant get fixed but it happens for often it seems when someone does a system restore.

I have the same problem!

I tried everthing:
shut down virus scanner / firewall
delete every silkroad file i have
delete cookies etc.
i tried at mid-night and early in the morning

But nothing helped...
If someone says he has a solution PLEASE TELL IT!
I can only play at my fathers PC

And yea, I did system restore...
