Pure INT s/s using chains?

I'm not sure if this is a super noob question to ask but,

why do pure INT char (both s/s and spear) use phy moves?

I've noticed especially the high lvl char that pvp tend to do this, the s/s usually use 1 nuke, then after that, all chains or KD + stab.

I remember reading a post somewhere long ago that said that KD and Stab are "INT" moves in that INT char do more dmg using the skills than STR char do. (i might be wrong on this)

but what about chains? I understand those to be PHY moves, so why are INT char using them?

current chain after 80 skill update have status effect.
chinese char isnt 1 shot killer like euro wizard.1 nuke isnt enough to kill full str,so nuke mixed with weapon skill would be deadly. E.g nuke while the opponent are stun

I know Chinese nukers cannot 1 hit STR, but instead of using the chains, why dont they continue to use the nukes, aren't nukes more powerful than chains for INT char.?

Taking advantage of Lightning chains's status effects makes sense, but if it worth the sp? (to max billow, then ascension, and finally lightning?

Are there other reasons that INT char use chains?

well.. for instance just because you see a s/s user nuking ...doesnt mean he is pure int ...therefore if he is hybrid chains and other phys moves do alot of dmg...im actually thinking of farming some sp and switching to bicheon and getting it to 73... for the all the kds and stabs and the bleed skill and lightning chain...

Sword Nukers: They use them for the level 73 skills which has division, making them much weaker... and for the knock-downs, making them unable to attack you.

Spear Nukers: For the knock back on ghost spear series along with the stun on soul departs series...

Nukes are only good after knocking the opponent back in my opinion. using nukes only in a PvP is a bad idea...

Pure int spear nukers can nuke someone to death, but they have to continuously nuke their opponent. Most opponents wouldnt let you nuke them without counter attacking. Weapon skills offer alternate ways or opens options to kill your opponent. For example if you are a pure int spear (using snow shield so you could tank of course) then your first aim is to stun your opponent so you could get 2 nukes in and finish with a quick shout or ghost spear mars. One nuke would never kill a decent pure str char of your level, so they can probably phantom away or respond with a snake storm etc thus stunning them first negates this.

Sword shield pure int nukers do not deal enough damage just by nuking, only if you have a strong weapon being the exception. To compensate for this, as mentioned by the above posts, lightning chain (and flying stone smash) help debuff your opponent using bleed and division, so your nukes hit harder.

Another reaosn its just fun to have all the sword skills, gets pretty boring with just nukes. Also the sword dance series are much btter than lion shout, its only slightly slower and it does twice the dmg with a chnace to crit and has AoE of 15 meters. I currently have all sword skils capped at 71 all light at 71 all fire at 60 (except imbue and nukes) and most cold at 71, it is fun to have all the skils maxed for your mastery level and skills you think are useless suddnely you find to be quite usefull in some situations. As for chains - I recomend getting to heaven and lightening chain its fun killing people with heaven and light chain will be nice for the status effects.

If your farming at 80 with 9 gap then flying stone smash is nice for bleed on giants and party mobs as its a 71 skill you cant get light chain till 73.

If a bicheon nuker can give Bleed + Division it can nuke a pure STR glavier for 16k! Insane damaage and a 2 hitter quittter.

so I guess the consensus is that Bicheon (and Heuksal) skills are a must for PvP. at least for pure INT char.

I'm a legit player (trying my best to farm! I'm lvl 51 full farmed [ice and lightning s/s nuker] with 9k sp to spare) but I hardly lvled any of my Bicheon moves, i have blood and billow chain both at lvl 1, but MAXed kd and stab!

my question is: is it worth it to lvl both billow and blood so i get heaven and ascension? I know lightning (the one with effects) requires only ascension. But for those experienced with PvP (and PvE) at high lvls, what's your opinion?

Get lightning chain by any means. I had level 1 Heaven on my nuker too, and I liked it, especially before getting to 64+. If you don't have the SP, skip Heaven, but Blood/Ascention are mandatory. Also, don't forget to get your smashing series up
