Biology ... you can just learn it ... In Physics you need to think ... and chemistry has some nasty stuff =/ heeh

Physics, after math its the simplest (for me), all you have to know are formulas, if you dont just visualize.
Biology.. a lot of latin names, a lot of names in general.
Chem: a lot of mindless equations that make absolutely no sence to me, learning complex formulas, no thx..

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
depends on your teacher and your school and WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT.
In my school, we have a bio teacher who has his classes watch jaws 1, jaws 2, jurassic park series, and cool runnings in his class. Open book tests, my friends say its easy as shit
then we have another bio teacher, she hands out 2 hours of homework everyday. The tests are really hard and theres like3 essays for every test.

For me
chem, then bio and last physics.
I had all 3 at college.
Chem
*inorganic
*organic
*analytic
Physics
* only fairly normal physics.
Biology
*in plants
* in animals
* physiology
And then you have things like biochem, medical chem.

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
well.. first of all the best should be the one you are best at..
for me:
- biology: pretty nice, but u gotta learn a lotta of things that you must remember in every moment, especially in reaserches
-physics: nice too.. i'm studying thermology now and it looks cool 'cause is not as hard as ppl could think.. in physics you have to think, as Nitro said, but if you are good at this, all will become easy
-Chemistry: simply.. the best
what else should i say ?

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
All of them were rather easy. I took regular chem thinking I would have problems, but I did not. I enrolled in AP physics and did not have a problem as well.
None of them were hard at all, however Physics just required alot of work.

Took all three in GCSE. Loved it then, so simple. Took higher phyiscs and higher chemistry at IB, bad choice

GCSE level they're about the same for me. I cant really tell them apart. College (GCE or A-Level) I didnt do physics, but did chem, bio, maths and further maths, all of which are about the same and easy as lemon pie.
Calculation bias | maths > physics > chem > bio > applied science | theory bias.
Some have more extreme aptitude towards one bias :/. If you dislike maths and avoid it like the plague, go for bio though caution, there can be statistical analysis depending on how your course is structured.

yeah if you suck at math you will suck at physics cause physics doesn't work without math

Fix'd....physics is Calculus based and chem has more algebraic problems than any other type of math.
For me Bio is the easiest cause you don't really need to know anything except for Bio. Chemistry you'll have to deal with the extra stuff and physics is too much math for my liking. Of Course Chemistry is the only respectable science out of the three bio is losers and physics is for nerds

If it were my school it'd be:
Bio-easiest
Chem and Physics have the same teacher. Hes pretty epic( as in Farking genius.), so his classes are pretty easy.
Note: Havent taken Physics yet. Next year.

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
chem because all it is is a bunch of equations that you teacher gives you and that you plug in stuff to solve

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
im a biology major in college right now and i must say that it is by far the hardest! i mean i dont even have to try and i almost have an A in chem...biology is just all memorization but chem and physics is easier because you can learn like a few formulas and you know how to do it.

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
Fyi Newton invented Calculus to solve physics problems, therefore if you suck at Calc like me you won't like physics either. Its cool to learn how things work and all, but it just never appeal to me. In university level biology, is a lot of math too, but mostly statistics.
man I hate math.

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
I took all three. Bio is just rote memorization. Physics you need to memorize principles and be very good in algebra. Chemistry is a little of both. You need to remember principles but alot of it is terms like bio. Unfortunetly I had bad teachers for Bio and Chem so they were the worst parts of my day.

Re: Which is easier - Bio, Physics, Chem?
lol at people saying physics is the easiest. You can't have studied physics on a very high level.
Biologi is easiest. Takes zero thinking, just reading reading reading.
Chemistry... It's just simple math and some reading.

History and business and economics courses is where i shine...
When I graduated they presented me with a plaque that they hang in the foyer for highest average in humanities and social sciences. My last year I took english, french, geography, law, history, economics, psychology, and art (didn't have my required art credit yet). I regret not taking a math + a science because they're virtually a prereq in everything post-secondary. I got cornered into going into an environmental studies and business program, where the only prereq is English, but now 3/4ths of my classes are either bio or some component of math. It's hard when you have an ecology class, and because you didn't take bio in grade 11 or 12 you don't understand anything that's going on - you end up having to self teach.
