Its freedom of expression, not everyone who has piercings are seeking attention.

I LOVE my piercings, for the simple fact that I like them and because I look good with them. If you don't like them, don't sit there looking at them. Nobody forces your eyes to become glued to a piece of jewelry. It's not always for attention.
i like how i hasn't ever occurred to redneck that some ppl might just like having piercings, just like ppl like dying there hair, dressing nice, and for whatever odd reason growing mustaches.
Personally i think it looks cool if you think its ots outlandish your the one to blame for it being considered an attention whore thing because you'll be the guy saying "Why're wearing that, its stupid and ugly blah blah blah!" while other ppl will say its looks nice or just won't care and say nothing...

It depends on what you get done. When I got my belly button done, I laid on my stomach to sleep a lot and it would rip and bleed a bit, but it eventually healed thanks to a few suggestions from SG. Most piercings are positioned in places by the piercer so that they have the smallest chance of getting caught or being painful. So.. it's not bad at all.
Septum is the middle of the nose, the cartilage between the nostrils. I had mine done, and ended up taking it out because I got it done during allergy season.. always getting infected, it was unpleasant whenever I had to blow my nose. The hole is still there, but it's semi-closed.. Dunno about getting it redone.

the only ear piercings I like are ear pierces. The others just sort of lower your charecter, just seems like it cause all the low-grade people in my school have piercings on their face and stuff
