No it is not, Joymax doesn't want any of their files modified in any way.

Half the reward of being high level is being strong and the other half is all in the appearance, that's why lvl 1 hat looks like a boob and lvl 75 hat looks all extravagant and the reason for that is all in the business of it!! oh ya, witch is right though, they have banned some played bots, a freind that quit after they banned him, he played on either troy or tibet i dont' remember. Any ways he linked me to the ban list and showed me where his player was

Its a modification to the client, preventing you from disconnecting upon failure to login. We do not support that here, nor allow links to it.

From what I hear is that they got the list already. They are just organizing it and such I guess. They are letting the bots be a bit scared for now. I still don't see why people need to bot. It seems pointless to me.

No dc may be against the rules , but take a look at this game, i'd think anyone can understand what joymax does with their rules, and getting frustrated and tired of trying. Can someone really be blamed for using a no dc client when bots run rampant in this game? Just to make logging in a little easier lol.

I'm not saying its right or they shouldn't be banned, but they aren't like bots, otherwise they would be botting >_>. Theres a difference between the two.

One of the biggest reasons for SRF to temp ban for no-dc client using admission is because of the very big majority of no-dc clients go in the same download as multiclients and/or bots.

This is not directed at the OP, or any particular person in general:

Is the notion of Joymax banning botters so terrifying that you must sit here and speculate on why the won't ban them all. What is your premise? Surely not one as irrelevant as: "bots support the game" or "botters are people too". This pointless nonsense that is spewed by the faction of closet botters who, at the moment, are waving their pro bot flag is disheartening. Surely you understand the consequences of hacking or botting in various MMORPGs are high, being banned would only be the first fear, but the second one and most human one would be the fear of being... ostracized. When no one will accept you for your actions Human or not cool or not, a certain amount of respect that previously would've been ascertained trough cleaner methods are short cut-ed for the Ends. I have no qualms with those who wish to ruin their own gaming experience, but when you ruin it for others, by botting, you - no matter how cool - will be banned here, and soon in game as well. The simplicity of the rules on this forum and in the Joymax ToS are evident; abide by them and nothing (bad: ideally), not even a ban, will be headed your way.
