I like the idea of an interactive website, that'll work great...
I need someone to set it up for me because I suck at coding in HTML and shit.

So... Anyone up for the job?

Maybe we can ask Ryoko if we can have a special part of the site, like "guide.silkroadforums.com", y'know? That's be pretty cool.

I'll ask him now.

why not just put a locked sticky in the guides section? works just as well

btw, you might want to consider using an image map for a website table of contents if there is 1 so clicking on a part of the table of contents lead to the page (using a frame for a website is also good :D)

aww your table of contents dont include other sro versions :(

Why what would you want to know about other versions, arent they the same, only ksro and csro and jsro are in a higher level cap then us.

Thats a good idea. I can make a freewebs thing no problem. But i dont have alot of experiance designing sites, so if anyone can help with that then that would be cool. I can help with graphics/artwork for the site if its needed.

He was talking about using dreamweaver.

You could also just as easily use bluevoda, there are alot of ways to do it.

Sadly though, this is going to take alot longer to finish than was originally planned, it should be done by midmrach though, hopefully before then.

are you planning to use the image map for the table of contents or do you have something else in mind?

[SD]Rainigul wrote:Blue - When a weapon has a special property turning the name of the weapon blue. Special properties include Strength increasers, HP increasers, ETC.

Just a typo, I guess. Any item can have blues, not only weapons. :)

[SD]Rainigul wrote:IMO/IMHO - In my opinion/In my honest opinion

Side note again. As far as I remember, IMHO stands for in my humble opinion. I can be wrong, anyway.

[SD]Rainigul wrote:Noob/N00b/Newb/Newbie/Noobie/N00bie (and countless others) - Someone who is new to the game, or someone who does not know much about the game. Used as a generic insult in game, if someone calls you "noob", they expect you to be offended.

Take it as an honor. You must be cool if they can't come up with any better insults. :D

[SD]Rainigul wrote:NPC - A "computer player". In game these are weapon sellers, armor sellers, potion sellers, etc.

NPC stands for Non Player Character.

[SD]Rainigul wrote:Phys - Refers to a physical characteristic on a weapon/armor piece/shield. For example, physical defence/attack.

I often "hear" phy instead of phys.

[SD]Rainigul wrote:PVM/PVE - Player versus Monster/Everyone

Player versus environment.

[SD]Rainigul wrote:Skill Delay - The time you need to wait before recasting the spell

Also known as cooldown.

[SD]Rainigul wrote:Ticket - An item which can be bought with silk which more xp than usual for 3 hours a day. People will often refer to "ticket time", by which
they mean they still have time left to get extra xp, so they don't
want to do anything else, such as a trade/thief run.

Often called GT or gold time. By the way, does anyone use silver tickets? :)

No offense, I'm trying to help. Even if it looks like b!tching. :)

It's still in beta man, stuff will be added.

Though this is going to take a while to complete, real life is popping up alot lol.

It should still be complete by the end of march though.
