hey all,im sort of new to the game and had a question,
Once i started i made a lvl 21 blader who is a hybrid with good skills and all cuz i farmed 1k with him,then i kept making money till i got sos blade lvl 16 to make a new char and all,so i made the new char a pure str and hes lvl 15 now ,everyone is saying that a nuker would be better to start with as my first character but i like blader and if i reach i high lvl with a nuker i dont know if will think about making a new character or not:D
for equip if i sell everything i own i can get like 1.5 mil,so thats pretty good but i really wanted to know how fast do nukers lvl ,are they much faster than bladers and when to they start lvling fast

Nukers lvl way faster than pure str pretty much right from the start. Also str bladers need the most SP so it will be slow. However, if that is the build you like then go with it. I started a nuker when i first started playing but quickly realised it wasnt for me as i dont like dieing and getting mobbed by more than 1-2 mobs usaully resulted in death. I say go with what you want and ignore other people.

anyway well i was just playing a game called oblivion and i made a character similar to blader,in diablo i like paladins, and when i though about nukers i thought of them as a change from my usual build BUT i hate dieing a lot .

Nukers level quickly, at least quicker than my STR character did. If you're careful while leveling and mindful of your surroundings you should have no problem staying alive. But you need to pay attention to your surroundings. If there are a lot of MOBS that are far enough not too aggro but close enough that if they moved they would all aggro you, it's probably not a good situation to get yourself into unless you feel you'll be able to kill the mobs quick enough before they all become a problem.

There were times that I killed the main mob I was killing died but soon after other mobs near by moved into "aggro" range and ganked me. So, just choose your battles wisely as an INT and you'll be fine.

One benefit of a STR character is you can aggro many MOBs at once and be fine. Often times the fastest way to level a pure STR character is to aggro 4 or 5 mobs at a time and kill them as quickly as possible. This will be the way to level a STR character quickly in my opinion. Of course you have to make sure the MOBs are close to your level. I wouldn't recommend trying this technique with orange or red mobs but grey or green cons.

i have no acces to item mall so i cant get a tiket or anything and ive heard its very hard to lvl up pure str without them later on

Why not make hybrid int?
Im hybrid and i have tanked a white giant and three regular white monsters at once. (Giant Chakji, 3 regular Chakjis) and I am lvl 20.
*NOTE: Im mostly int. 86% or something. I level fast and do lots of damage.

I'm a pure hybrid and can tank 5 or 6 mobs before I start struggling.

I rarely die and if I do it's usually due to a massive lag spike (10 seconds or more).

The last time I died due to overload of mobs was when I was grinding scorpians. I was fighting a giant, then two champions spawned next to me, about 5 normal scorpians wondered over and then another champion joined the fray.

I lasted for about a minute before I had to retreat, then I spammed some pots and used my multi monster bashing skills to kill a couple of the scorps before LAG and death.

I have lots of screenshots of me tanking 5 or 6 scorps

Pure Hybrids are awesome, everybody just refuses to believe it.

are pure hybrids 1:1 cuz i have already put 45 into str ,should go on 1:1 bases or put all the remaining into int or make my character str based

it's up to you, do whatever you think will be more fun.


don't read all of the silly guides and listen to everyone's rants about hwo great their build is. Play how you want to play, not how everyone else tells you to play.


and yes pure hybrid = 1:1

Yeah if you listen to other people's builds too much, you might make a character you don't like to play.
