S/S Nuker or Blader, can't decide!

I know it's somewhat stupid to ask other people on what character I should make (since I should know what I like), but this one is a really tough decision for me, so any help is welcome!

I'm searchin for a fun allrounder char that should be able to kill uniques, that is at least decent in pvp and has a lot of style.

The last mentioned point is, why I always wanted to have a Blader(looks), the others are the reason why a S/S Nuker would be a good option, too.

So, PLEASE give me some opinions and make this an easier decision for me!


I already have a pure int wiz(60) and a pure str glavier(48), but that's not important for my decision between those two.

Hmm...I had the same question a while back. Topic called "Which bicheon character". I made the decision to make a pure int s/s, but it's really just personal preference. If you like to tank, take the blader...killing uniques, take the pure int s/s. Jobs...well, doesn't really matter, int s/s might be more suitable for hunter rather than the blader, but the blader might be better for a trader.

You could check my post, but not a lot of helpfull responses where there...only a few.

Blader is actually a really good hunter cause they almost never die.

The more I think about it, I realize that I'd only take the blader for it's style IF the S/S has at least a mediocre tanking ability. Else, this would be another plus for the blader.

Can anybody tell me how well a S/S can tank? Like I said, I want to job (hunter/thief, no trader), unique hunt and pvp with it, pve isn't that important.

I would go pure str blader, I have a nuker and its gets old and you die alot.

I would go for s/s nuker, you get the same bicheon skills and style plus nukes
If you have snowshield thats good tanking right there.
As a blader, its more difficult to get the unique kill compared to other builds but you can tank them easily
But again, nukers could die easily if your not careful but thats what snow shield is for

beside, these days, s/s pure int wear garments. so u can share the garment wif yr blader.

how the hell do you have both are you like a god in lvling iv been playing about a year now and im 54 with my nuker

OT: i would say s/s nuker because well they cant tank enless your a kd nuker and iv played a kd nuker and they tank more then you think and also they do a hella lot of dmg

Blader is very fun and is good at jobbing cause they dont die easily, and despite wat people say they can kill. All u need are some statuses (bleed and division.) Also, they are a godly tank and u will almost never die.

After reading through some of the great guides on this site again and after considering what you guys said, I finally decided to make a S/S hybrid light/cold with bicheon or force (dunno yet). I'm not going to skill fire with the lvl90 update (hopefully) coming soon.

You're right that S/S has most of the blader skills. Tanking shouldn't be a problem either (with shield + snow shield + str points), as well as the dmg is going to be okay/good since it's a nuker.

I see you made your choice but another choice could be Euro, 1h Warrior/Warlock. You go pure str and you can take a good amount of damage and also deal good damage. That way you kinda get a little of both. I was in the same predicament about a week ago. I love my character now, It doesn't get boring either cuz your doing alot. Also you have a good chance of winning the giant or unique cuz you are doing damage over time with warlock as well as up close pwnage with the warrior.

Would love to hear how it works out. I am myself thinking of making a 70:70 blader with bicheon/ice/force.

Bladers: Good for jobs since they never die... I was one, and level 70+'s couldn't 1 hit me and I was level 62 ... but they level extremely slow...

Sword: Fast killing... fast leveling... weak until higher level...
