Titanic Spoon, 51k US$.
Today we went to an old lady's house to buy a few antiques she had with my father, I asked if she had anything related to ships such as postcards or uniforms, she said she gave 2 tickets "from some boat called Titunic" (ignorant people) to her niece 2 days and now she's in the US. She'd have sold the tickets for practically nothing and I haven't investigated how much a ticket is worth, but last year a hanging lamp from the Titanic was sold for over 80k US$.
Here's the spoon

Of course he's not going to sell that for the simple fact it has no CoA (certificate of authenticity), the only picture it has pretty much blows and he even said "lol" in the description.
But that's not the point.
Point is, it's just so funny how some people are just born unlucky, 2 days late.
And yes there's people with so much money to blow they don't know what to do with it, instead of doing charity they become 'professional collectors' and buy collectibles that will go to the trash bin once they die.

lol not if someone you figures that its not from the Titanic and decideds to take
action against you that is.
You should of said more clearly that its 50/50 on if its real or not...either way
good one on making so much money
action against you that is.

not sue them...well you could legally if you wanted to, but more likely get a strike
against them on e-bay as they are selling an item thats not the one listed.

No, unless you state that it's original and that you have the CoA but you actually don't, they can't do anything about it.
A guy I met a few years ago bought a PS2 box for 470 US$ when the PS2 just came out. His fault.
