Level 1 to 51 Quest Guides

Okay.. I hit level 18.. and up pop my quests like normal. In it was the Hunt White Tiger skins for the specialty shop, but another quest was there. That quest had a zero "0" for the text and title. I'm assuming this is the quest listed for level 17 to do after you complete the herbalist delivery quests. Because I deilvered to the west ferry the first time, and the second time had to deliver medicine to the west ferry and books to the east ferry. There was no new quest from the herbalist after I completed steps one and two as listed in this guide.

Anyone know what quests I got at 18 that had a zero for text? Who do I need to go see to get it?

I know that the tiger one has a zero... because I have it in my quest menu right now...

the Tiger competiton has a zero for the title right now, as shown on my screen shot... but it's level 13. It is also only a Zero on the title. You can still see the text on what to do now as shown in my screen shot.

However, what I'm refering to is the fact that when I hit level 18 I got the window that pops up like normal that states the new quests for that level. If you have more then one quest for that level then each quest is listed right below the previous in that window.

Well in my level 18 window that popped up I saw two quest titles. One said the White Tiger Skin quest from the specialty shop guy. The other had a big fat number Zero. No other indicators as to what the quest is. I ran around town looking for any NPC with a scroll above it's head but it was fruitless. I check the quest list here and on another site (of which they are almost identical) and both list only 1 quest for level 18, not 2. Also, the lists have an extra quest for 17 for which I was never given despite doing the correct chain for it.

The tiger hunting competition does the same. At that level you get three regular quests, then if you scroll down you get two 'blank' quests, which are the second and third times you can do the tiger hunting competition. What you've described is normal for quests that can be done more than once.

Tzeal.. I know that when you get the pop up window talking about the tiger hunting competition "extra" quests that the title is a zero. That's not a problem because:

1) It is the same level as the original quest. This means it shows Tiger Hunting Competition at level 13 and TWO quests below that which have a zero for the title right below it in the pop up window.

2) The continuation parts of the quest come from the same guy. It's easy to figure out where to get the quests.

Now.. for my problem. The level 17 "UNLOCKED" quest which is NOT a continuation quest came up as a ZERO. I do not know the NPC I need to speak with to start the quest because it is not the same NPC that had the previous SERIES of quests I had to do... which is the Herb delivery quest line. After I deliver the herbs, medicine, and books for the herbalist to the ferry's then that is it. The herbalist doesn't give anything else. YET when I hit level 18.. I got an "UNLOCKED" quest that I have no idea where to start. That is what I'm trying to solve.

Ugh... Anyone about to hit level 18 with a character soon? If so please take a screenshot of the quest reminder popup window for level 18. You'll understand clearer what I'm trying to ask that way.

when i hit level 18 the only quest i got was the white tiger skin quest.

I'm not far above 18, and I've seen it first-hand which is why I know exactly what you are talking about. Like I already said it is identical to the quest reminder window at 13, in that it shows two quests with no data, and that these are effectively the second and third 'collect white tiger skins' repeats.

You will see it every time you get a repeatable quest, the reason most people don't notice the same behaviour at lvl 13 with the repeatable tiger hunting competition is because there are 3 regular quests therefore filling the quest reminder window and most do not think to scroll down to see these 'blank placeholders'.

I think you need to complete these quests first. There's a third bandit-related quest, but I don't think it's a prerequisite. I could be wrong.

Level 11 - Bandit Operation Map (finish Sweeping Bandit Archer unlock)

ive been looking around. I can't find the blacksmith named cheolhyeon.
where is he exactly ?

That one is particularly lame. If you're getting bored already, get ready for more of the same, at least until 25 or so. Then you can become a trader which is (arguably) less boring.

And believe me when I tell you that you're doing the easy stuff now. I've killed about 2000 Chakjis over the past few days.

I'm still 19, about 12% from 20, and I just got the Ghost Bug quest, only problem is how to get to the area to kill them....the only way I can figure at my level is to take the ferry and walk along the eastern side of the map to the area with the bugs correct?

Everywhere else on that map the monsters are like level 25-30-35 etc....I got one-hit nuked walking trying to see what was around the ferry area. Heh.

It's actually CHULSAN, the Blacksmith in Jangan for that quest. I think it has a prerequisite quest too, the "collect 20 bandit maps" one. Not sure about that though.

The ferry guy there, doesn't have a quest for me, and I can't find Fa anywhere in Donwhang. I got the other lvl 21 quest there, but not from Fa.

To get Chakji Hunting you have to complete the Folk Remedy quest (19). Fa is due north in Donwhang by the Bodhisattvas in the side of the mountain (Baekmasa on the town map).

Yeah, I already completed the Folk Remedy quest, which is what I figured was the requirement for the lvl 20 quest.

I'll look for Fa though, since I couldn't find him (or her...)

But the hunting quest, don't know what to do to get that one.

you must have missed a linking quest. go over the quest list carefully and see if there;s something that slipped by you.

If you missed quests for certain levels can u go back to the NPC's later and still complete the older quests thta you never did? I unknowingly forgot to do a few and wanted to know if i can go back and complete them...

Alright, I just got the damn quest from him....I happened to be walking around killing the bugs and ghosts near there and figured I'd walk over to him and see if the quest was available, and lo and behold, there it was...

Now I gotta kill 600 friggin things. Yay.
