Re: Droping Items When You Die
it happend to me b4 with my I think a 45 or 48 +3 glaive I lagged at spiders and dropped it.
Apparently the possibility of it happening is low but if the mob is red or orange the possibility of it happening is greater.
I do recall reading something like that on the old silkroad.net forums.

Hey that happens. I often find that when I pick up certain items, usually expensive ones, I suddenly become unable to speak whatever language I was speaking with someone before.
It's a strange phenomena...
No really, it sucks when people do that. Luckily it hasn't happened to me so far.

Re: Droping Items When You Die
I'm always nice to give stuff back to people though
but they need a weapon set inventory slots, i mean you gota risk 3 weapons with a rogue/ bard, and my vindiction has to risk 4 with her sub cleric (4 because of the added sheild) now if they made that just for weapon sets like 3 max, then it would be ok to loose other items you just have, rather then something as important as your weapon

A man once said, "Fear is contagious". So then the same must hold true for courage.

Re: Droping Items When You Die
Dropping your weapon is a risk you take by fighting things that might kill you. Nothing wrong with that.
Besides, if they made it so you couldn't drop your alternate weapons, then people wouldn't be able to steal them from the bots through that horse murder thing.

Re: Droping Items When You Die
the same thing happened to my guildmate, she's level 80 rogue and was power levelling some friends, she lagged, died, and her 72+7 cleric rod dropped. sad thing was, a unionmate picked it up and wouldn't give it back. he was asking 400M for it.. that noob
and he said he got it from npc thieves while he was hunting
and another guildmate of mine also lost his 72+5 2h sword (with very very nice stats)..

Wow, good thing that the "Ban" button works in silkroad.
