filling up your disadvantage...

Post by Rakion »

just a crazy thought that int type char. use wep with more phy. dmg. since then have poor rating on physical attacks... and str builds use weps. with more mag. damage since thats their disadvantage on damage based. i know it sounds stupid but somehow maybe it will pwn ...................................... someday... :)

what i mean:
Pure/Hybrid STR's = Spear or Sword and Shield.
Pure/Hybrid INT's = Glavie or Blade and Shield.
Bow users remain as the same.
As i ended the last chapter of my past never forgotten true love...
... a new one begins :)
I'm begging to find a way on how to connect with someone new...
....somehow this new Chapter will be quite an experience. :)

One flaw with that theory...

Int and Str use their respective weapons for a reason

A pure int's gonna hit a hella lot higher with a weapon based more on the magical side (spear, sword, staff, etc.) than using a str based weapon like a glaive, blade, etc. ....thus, lowering their damage and their so-called "pwnage" ability lol

Give a Pure Str a Glaive or Spear with same stats...they're gonna hit higher with the glaive rather than the spear.

lv72 glaive npc: Phy 658 ~ 804, Mag 983 ~ 1170
lv72 spear npc: Phy 614 ~731, Mag 1053 ~ 1287

I have a hybrid int nuker that has farmed sword, fire, light, ice trees up to lvl 60. I used to wear protector, and shield +7, blade+7 and even though I couldnt pump out the numbers the sword users were doing, a single nuke and a Crit off my blade tree killed any pure int my lvl in garms or protector, and my crit spikes where much higher then strs so I can kill str players my lvl unless they just crit me like mad lol So maybe there is just some hope? but I dunno this is my experience and I have no ss's to prove it. xP

Just to add to my girls post. Originally she was just borrowing the blade. But we were shocked by how well it worked. If you are hybrid int s/s with chains it is extremely effective in pvp. Nuke damage is lower so bad for pve. But as long as your weapon has a high crit and you use mostly weapon skills in pvp you will benefit from the higher crit damage. Honestly the blade wasn't that bad for pve either just not as good as sword.

If you're int hybrid it's better to go with sword anyways...the max crit for a sword is 15, while a blade's only 13. Plus with the sword you're have more magical damage.

Yes I would take a crit 15 sword over a crit 13 blade, good point. BUT if lets say they are both crit 12 don't underestimate the blade.

Blade damage in the hands of a nuker:
nukes hit for less
non crit skilled attacks hit for about the same
crit attacks hit harder.

So depending on playing style I think blade might be the same or better.
