Regarding Patching Process Feb 26, 2008
Hello, This is Silkroad Online.

Users may have long period to log-in due to massive amount of update today.

To smooth patching process, we recommend our users to download the Manual patch file which will be available for download at the Downloads section on our website after the inspection.

[How to use]

1. Log into the website
2. Click the downloads section
3. Download the manual client
4. Unzip the manual client
5. Double click the Mpatch(138-141)&Install


I have no idea what that means, all i see in the Download section is full client and Direct X O_o

i guess this is what happens when the servers are all crowded. Patching it will become so difficult that you need to download the patch manually..

Its really JM that released that i can tell, its shitty patch ! every other company u would d/l something and it would patch here it asks 124235346 stuff aaaaahh

i extracted it on 2 da desktop...then wat...?

i opened tht "SilkroadPatch_Zip_Global" thing...n a download thing popped up...

wat do we type in da spaces which says "installed folder" "version" "user exe file"...?

everytime i run the .exe, i notice that the browse function to find the exe is bugged, and i get an "error 205 "Ver 1" needs Fullversion instalation Process is stopping" messege, and the pathc doest get downloaded, are there any other people out there that are having a similar problem?

I have the exact same problem, what a mess does joymax make of it again. I can't even download it normally. and I was looking forward so much to the event

3.) User Exe File:
Now on this one they want you to find an *.ex_ file

And of course, there is none in patch or in Silkroad.

So what happened?

I figured it out by now

1. map/silkroad
2. 141
3. map/silkroad/sro_client.exe

but it downloads like 392 files and then it does nothing it's not done yet but I waited and waited and in the end pushed the cancel key and got another error...

i dont know what to type for version

where do i put those 2 files in the zip files, do i extract them in the silkroad folder itself, then run it.

Also, my game works fine with out the patch itself

yes, but what the hell is the manual patch for, did we even need it actually, cuz game seems totally fine without it.

I think the manual patch is not needed. The game can be downloaded automatically once you start the client.
