Guild war

Is there a guide or link to how guild wars work? or can someone in detail explain how they work? (Yes I have tried using search function.)

Do you need to use the alt key to kill in a guild war?
Do you get murder status if you kill people in a guild war? (Yes I understand if you use alt key you will murder someone) or is it like cape battle without the protective loss of exp.
Do people use Zerk in guild war?
Are there must do's or Don'ts?
Can you drop stuff if you die?
How long does a typical guild war last?
Do you apply a monetary amount for the winning guild? if so how much? 1mil? 5 mil?

Ok that is all I can think of at this time.

Guild wars are just like a big pvp between the guilds, except once your killed your out.

So the guild war goes until all of one of the guilds dies? no matter how long it takes?

If you die and you come back to the spot can you fight again? or do you just watch at this point?

It's been a few months since I've been in a guild war but to my knowledge if you die in a guild war, you can either be resurrected by another player or go back to town and run back to the location of the guild war and continue fighting.

To start a guild war, both guild leaders must be within a visible distance of each other. Press U click on the "Guild Rel." tab and press the "Apply Combat" button. This window will appear:



Here you can choose the options you want for the guild war. Time, gold, points, etc. For example, lets say you choose 10,000 points, 20 million gold and 1 hour and 30 minutes for the guild war. The other leader will get a message pop up asking to accept or deny the war. If he accepts the opposing guild members names will turn red. No need to alt+click, or use cape/job suits.

Very important! In the name field you must type the opposing guild's name exactly as it appears with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and underscores!

So now the war starts and everyone needs to fight, heal, buff, res, etc etc.. the winner is determined by the guild who gets 10,000 points first (points are earned by killing the opposing guild members, it varies based on levels I believe). If no guild reaches 10,000 points within the time limit, the guild with the most points wins and takes the prize of 20 million gold. Go to the guild agent in town to collect or pay guild war funds.

I just had a quick question, you said you put in the amount of gold that the winner would recieve. Does each guild pay 20 million gold? Or if you put in 20 million does it make each guild pay 10 million?

You either win or lose 20 mil, or whatever the amount is that you choose. Its not divided so for example, SuddenDeath wars _Eternity_ for 20 mil gold, we don't pay or receive any money until after the guild war is over. If _Eternity_ wins, SuddenDeath must go to the guild agent and pay the 20 mil gold, _Eternity_ will go to the guild agent and collect 20 mil.

I'm not sure exactly, I've never done a guild war with a gold prize but I'll ask around
