I dont think so. IMO being 1337 is being really good at something, pretty much god-like, but hardcore you put in a ton of time, like grinding 6+ hrs a day, but has nothing to do with skill. Only dedication

on the contrary, hard core is the attitude, do everything the right way, and have dont' speak l1k3 7h15

1337 is the opposite, speaks in numbers, finds weird ways around the right way (not nessacarily boting) but like minor glitches to exploit, unlike a true hardcore the knows the same exploits and wont' use them, the pk2 editors, or just the little kids that like talking that way, or likes to know everything about the way the game works

or a better example the rockers vs techno listeners

what is hardcore and what is 1337.

if hardcore means using silk, then no i'm not hardcore.
if hardcore means using a bot, then no, i'm not hardcore.

I did level up 2 levels this weekend, does that mean hardcore, and no, i wasn't plvled, i was grinding in a party.

Also i have school, so i mostly just play on weekends, and have my computer on 24 hours ( on weekends ) so when i go out or sleep, i do stalling.

btw 1337 does not require always speaking in 1337. u just have to know how to read and write it.
