Lol my lvl 66 fire glaive got owned by a lvl 58 blade. Its not that I sucked or anything, its that blades own, lol...I abandonned my glaive and am making a blade.

If you lost to a Blader 8 levels lower than you, NO build is good for you. Just quit SRO, or never PvP again.

wow what a.. you made an account to just say that? lemme guess.. u have a blader which cant kill anything unless it's 3-4 lvl lower and u wanna satisfy yourself here. right?

I dunno what you guys are talking about but like I said in the other thread. I've beaten a handful of full str glavies and i've only lost once to a glavie my level and that was due to my own mistakes. Hell at lvl 66 I could tank lvl 70 glavies like it was nothing and they couldn't drop me.

For all you future high level blades let me give you tip for victory.

knockdown book 3, knockdown book 2 (if 3rd book fails), 3rd book stab, 2nd book stab, heaven chain combo!

That chain of atks can defeat glavies if you have a nice blade with good crit.

This is coming from a lvl 67 full str fire glavie, I hardly ever die and full str glavie the only build I would call my equal. Even then they can't defeat me.

I could bring 50 pots to the fight and glavie could bring 100, I'd wiin with 1 pot to spare. Glavies eat up way more pots in a duel vs a blader, WAY MORE

So please lets ..... off with the dumb stories on how good your character is and post the things which are true and not player influenced.

I'd say go glavie , a tank bomb is useless. Heck , bladers can't even kill a hybrid nuker in armor.
HydraliskX can tank a blader with third book stab and kd. He's pure int. Go figure how useless blader dmg is. Proof ? go search youtube !

I've dueled plenty of int and I don't even have lvl 68 stabs. I've never been beatin more times than I could beat them, NEVER. Full int's in garments get 1 hit koed by blader 3rd book KD crit. HAHAH you want to bring up videos, ok then lets do that! go search tavern and there is a video of a fire blader owning glavies. All lvl 70 glavies he fights 3 of them in 1 on 1 matches and he doesn't lose a single freaking match. Hell he even took off his shield for a few of them and he STILL WON. How you like them apples.

You sound like the typical glavie user who think his cookie cutter char is the best thing since sliced bread.

Just because glavie is "easier" to use and servers are full of them doesn't mean they're the best, it means they're the noobs favorite build.

A lvl 64+ glavier zerked couldn't kill me when I was lvl 65. Knock downs hand him on the ground cursing because his zerk was being wasted.

Alrighty. Here's my opinion re-stated.

Glavie is more powerful in terms of raw damage. This is pretty much undisputed.

Blade is more powerful when it comes to tanking and surviving.

blades hit ALOT fast than glavies, blades have BLOCK and assuming ur a blader and u can get a nice crit blade+zerk=pure pwnage, even if the glavier zerks too he doesnt hit as fast as you, the blader's potions will be able to tank that damage but the glavier wont, cuz the blader hits him fast+high damage cuz of the zerk

Blades don't do more damage than glaives. They hit more often, but for less.

well in my opinion there is no beter build in the end its probaly 10 % your build 40% your gear and 50% player experience ( know how to fight to counter certain moves know how to stay alive etc )

I am warrior/rogue and I haven't had any problems going up against any blader in my server. Glaiver tend to last a lil longer against me since they hit pretty high and got extra hp.
I would recommend glaiver > blader, if you are the type that like to dish out nice damage, have high hp, and not just be a so-so blader build that can only tank and tank and tank but still lose against warrior, rogues euro :wink:

Go Blader ... Bladers are Euro Killers , they can kill any Euro ... Seriously ... When I was playing ROgue (lv.80) I had DD on me and I Stealthed -> Prick bla bla ... and out of 20 fights I had with Blader I won 4 of them .. Seriously they are the sex ... Make Blader - KD + Pot spamming + new SD Shield Series + Sexy Chains (and new chain) ...

Glavies are too common and too boring .

Are u saying bladers are euro killer?
im not sure what kinda of euro players u pvp against, but I have never lost to a blader ever since i Played this SRO game, and I only sticked with one char, warrior/ rogue so far.

, either u dont know how to use ur build effectively or u dont have good gears and tactics
Anyway, bak to topics, blader are supposed to be tankers and always will be tanker, glaiver are suppose to be damage dealer or str side, so depend on what you prefer, both are nice builds. I personally prefer glavier though

lol. u get freeze....there are some things call universal pills/ accessory for immunity.
Every high lvl is Immune to ice unless they are noobs.

Glavier is much stronger then blader.

blade: better defense, KD, (later on: bleed, fear?)

both are great builds...
