i am trying to make the best build for a wizard for PVE and i do not know what the sub should be, cleric or bard? i know that cleric has noise which helps alot while grinding, but recovery division helps but mobs already 2 hit you so... it doesnt heal that fast.

Well, I don't have much experience with a wizard, but the subs are pretty obvious.

Bard --> PvE
Cleric --> PvP

Depends on your playing style and what your goals are.

Cleric -- with buffs can tank more than bard sub, wear light armor, refill your HP, res people if you want to; better in PvP, die less often (from what I've read)

Bard -- Noise skill protects you from everything except champs and giants up to the level stated by the buff, Speed buff, refill your MP; good for PvE, easy to die, if you get good at weapon switching (while soloing) you rarely need potions (refill your MP with Mana Cycle and kill mobs before they can hit you most of the time so no HP potions)


I personally play a Wizard/Bard, lv 42, because I hate running slowly and I like not having to worry about being attacked by every aggro monster.

Your choice depends on how you want to play. I'm not interested in PvP so I chose Bard and am quite happy with it.

Bard, u will be the king of pve, and a very good power lvler= more money u can charge.

If I were in ur place i would choose cleric coz of the defence buffs really helps

when i started playing i didnt care at all about pvp, but as you get towards lvl 80 the grinding gets really old real quick, with a cleric sub you can tank even more which ther only thing that isnt 1-2 hit kill is a giant or a pt mob and if your fighting a mob 2-4 lvls higher then you a pt mob WILL kill you unless you get fear on them if your soloing, but if you are anything like me, when you get closer to 80 you start pvping and jobbing more and moreand that when cleric will really come in handy besides being able to tank a giant pt mob on your own.
