Graduation was looking out to 3months of vacation.

It wasn't that special imo.
The end of highschool and a diploma which isn't worth anything.
Just another step in life which had to be taken.


To be honest graduation in high school is overrated (or at least it's overrated in Belgium)

Good for you... I'm now entering my 3rd year of Uni, and I come to find out I am apparently a legend in Theory of Knowledge at my HS. My teacher for that class was f*cking amazing, and my classmates were all people who got way too passionate about the subject they were debating. So of COURSE I would debate things I didn't even believe with perfectly valid points, and some of them got SOOO pissed. I caused girls to cry, leave the room, and just plain freak the f*ck out. I miss those days :-/

Luckly I've already graduated from Uni, reflecting to my highschool graduation, I was really hopeful for Uni, because I'll be away from home and stuff, no more nagging from parents, it should be awesome. But my first year in Uni was terrible, not used to the style of living i guess. Kinda had to admit I miss my friends back at home, also my parents.

But anyways my advice:

keep in touch with your high school buds, because your friends will be the once that are supporting you when you're going emo.

Don't get frustrated if the Uni life is demanding, it is. It just takes time to get used to.

Don't party too much and you should be fine

UofT was my first choice, but then after speaking to people and relatives in Canada, both Toronto and Vancouver they made me choose UBC over UofT.

UBC is better and they're more environmental friendly, UofT treats you like a number, and they try yo kick out students in first year by having really hard exams XD (or so I've heard)
