Int Light dieing much

hi, i have a lv30 chinese int LIGHT ONLY with spear
i noticed i die alot against giants, ptmobs and even me vs 2 normalmobs.
they are all 3 lvls lower than me and i even died in traderun 1star when 2 npcthieves owned me.
i noticed this build is bad at pvp, jobbing, trading, hunting giants, pts, 2+mobs.

i dont enjoy grinding this build
-but is it worth to put time and effort on this? just because of the fast lvling speed, so that i reach lv80 in few months?

or shall i just start a slow lvling STR build i'll enjoy and dont die often?

im pure str i like it but i also like getting on my friends pure int lvl 80 accounts too. Make sure you are wearing armor since you are pure int. save up some sp and put it into cold so that you can use the extra defense from it. Use snow shield when pt mobs attack you. Also fire nukes are a little better to me so you might wanna incorporate those in to help you kill faster

isnt a full STR better than full INT?
int just only good because of nuke (higher dmg).?
in pvp, jobbing and such, isnt STR better because he can live longer+deal dmgs in that time, instead of dealing high dmg, but die very soon.

lvl 80 pure ints that use snow shield can stay alive and tank pretty much any mob. plus you have a shield and if you get a high br shield that will help keep you alive too. pure ints do more dmg. There are pure ints right now 1-2 nuking lvl 80 generals where i grind so idk.

You cant directly compare a STR character and an INT character. I know so many INT characters who can beat str character who have similar gear and levels.

I also know many STRs who easily kill INTs... but it eventually depends on what you like.

I made a STR glavier when I first started playing (now level 54 on tibet).

I still play on him sometimes, but INTs have become my favorite.

ok for one... your too low lvl to even judge which build is better ...number 2 its not about the build anyways... its all about weapons luck and gear...in the end....and another thing...at that lvl yes you are going to die if you get gangbanged bt stuff..for one you probably have like 800 hp or so ..because no blues on your gear and also ..how do we know what your pots are set at? most ints should put theirs to 80%+ when grinding and 90% when jobbing/pvping... also...what size do you use? that also will determine if you live or die..how fast you repot and how much hp you are repotting.. so no int doesnt suck..and neither does pure str .... with chinese its all about the gears and weapons..with euros.. what can i say? they are just too overpowered..

i only got normal equips, no + and SOX and such

but so will i be better off if i set hp to 80%

My spear int has 1k+ hp so i use medium pots.. but you should be grinding on monsters that you can 1 shot with a nuke or 1 nuke and 1 lion shout.

making a light only nuker just to lvl faster is a bad bad idea

if you really want to go fast lvling without as much sp would be a light/cold pure int s/s or spear. You NEED cold. And if you hate dieing, go 7:1 hybrid. imo, I think hybrids are better because they still deal a ton of damage withotu dieing too much, thats why I have a int hybrid 7:1 s/s.

but if you want more damage, just go spear

I agree, you seriously need cold and armor if you're gonna be a pure INT =)

not really ... i find pure light spear pretty easy to play and level. i dun pimp my gears and dun spend on buying low level gears. i do + decent drops. my weapons are +2 to +3 (yeah ... alchemy dun work so good for me, i could spend 20 elixirs and still end up +2).

by the time i hit 40+ taking on mobs like 43 maongs and onwards, sticking with garments may be a challenge. so i usually either spend sp to lvl up heuksal passive or switch to protectors. once pass 50, i lvl with sword shield especially when training on aggro mobs.

but i agree that with the party mobs, it's really tough to stick only to light-spear without leveling spear passive and skills. but if u level spear skills as well, it's quite alright. my cold is abt 10-15 levels behind my spears and lightning mastery. then ... i stopped ... yeah .... server traffic got so bad and .... bots flood everywhere.

same here. i had a light nuker and got him to lvl 40..i never had trouble in pve. just remember to kill the monsters as fast as possible lol before they attack you. i usually just used the lightning nuke and ghost spear per kill.
