Can I collect cursed hearts after leveling down to 17?

I'm level 17, SP Farming by killing green mobs. Can I:

1. Gain EXP until I'm lvl 20.
2. Talk to the potion lady, begin the cursed hearts quest.
3. Level DOWN to 17 again (this will take awhile :p)
4. Continue SP farming at 17 and collect Cursed Hearts?

I haven't tried that but I don't think you might gather any quest item if you're below level 20, not sure though. But if you're sp farming you could just try to get the hearts with your gap as you won't level up very fast and then go back to 17.

Well, i think that when u have the quest, u will get the items, but after collecting 300 you'll have to hand them in, meaning the quest stops and since you're not lvl 20 anymore, you can't pick it up again.

So you can get 300 hearts = 30 of those potion things = 30 skills / masteries to delvl.
