Screwed up HUD

I did put this on the technical help section, but I don't think anyone will see it for a while, so GM's please don't be so quick to move this.
I just installed silkroad on my laptop. On my desktop the game runs flawlessly with everything turned up. On the laptop I am running a 1024 X 768 with the graphics turned up, but the HUD keeps flickering like crazy. It is like I am having a seizure. I turned down all the graphics and even the resolution but the HUD still flickers. Any one have any ideas?????

try reinstalling and update your driver. if it doesn't work, then reformat.

Latest driver and re-installed SRO twice. Even overclocked the graphics card just for the hell of it and that didn't help.

Is your graphics card un supported? Most laptop video cards are un supported...

On my laptop, there are two settings: stamina, and speed.
On stamina, it uses the laptop's built-in graphics card.
On speed, it uses whatever graphics card you installed.
(my wording may be wrong, but I hope you get the point)

DON'T run silkroad while on stamina mode. I tried this, and i got the flickering you mentioned.
If this doesn't help, did you check your screen's refresh rate?

over clocking won't help at all. and do what ^he^ said.
