Disconnect problem

Post by Ayasha »

Every time I log in to Silkroad (Azteca server) I disconnect after a maximum of five minutes.
My internet is fine it works normally outside of Silkroad.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Try Re-installing , Rebooting or Re-downloading as they fix 80 % of the technical problems .
So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.

I recommend you downloading the full Legend VII. client instead of patching the old one. Since I have installed the new client both DC and lag problems are gone.

despite all the lame answers.. i have the same problem when i run a clean client i get dc after 5 minutes, 10 minutes max.. i've been facing this problem for nearly a year now.. anyway i traced the problem using my good computer knowledge and i found out that the dc is caused by the stupid Game Guard.. i sent them an email with the log file attached and i got an answer, they told me that game guard is detecting some sort of auto-clicker or whatever, and i have none of course.. tried different windows (xp, vista and Win7) the problem still there so i sent them another email asking them whether they are mistaking one of my drivers with this auto-clicker or not and what should i do to fix this issue.. of course i got ignored by them.. the problem is related to your computer.. im using a laptop HP 6730S what's yours?
PS: i was forced to use a 3rd party program to stay online, which bypass the Game Guard.. which feed my doubts about it.. sooo any suggestion except buying a new computer?

i dont get dced if im in a stall or in a pt getting exp but as soon as the exp stops or im out of stalling i get dced. (im a premium user too) i think its a problem with gameguard conflicting with antivirus/firewall possibly any other games work perfectly.

try disabling firewall to play sro? if that fixes the problem then that means the firewall is the problem.. dont like that fix then i cant suggest anything else but routers have good firewalls on them usually if set up correctly. and just general use of intelligence got me through without a firewall until i got eset smart security.

hmmm.. I don't use anti-viruses nor firewalls :D
if was translating some of the korean websites about this problem, they said that the code i just posted above means that hackshield detected "memory hacking" whatever that is i don't know what's causing it.. any idea what might cause it?

I DC every 5minutes for 2 days now on Rome. Randomly, when I run the silkroad.exe the error with the message " servers are currently going under inspection..." appears. I never had these problems until now, doh. It's the servers, hope that they will fix them in tomorrow in the inspection.

I dc occasionally, more so with the recent update, but never after 5 minutes.

btw, wonder which "third party programs" auto-reconnect.

I know it's not exactly the same issue, but whenever I start Silkroad, I get this error message: "Connection to the server has ended. Please try again later.".
NOTE: This is before I even get to press "Start". It's when opening the launcher.
Anybody have a solution?
