Know how the normal map is sketched up? He's using the minimap instead, which should be 100% correct to the terrain.

the normal map looks like hand drawn, check it out next time you log in. the one he has is like a map made from your minimap (without bringing the big map out).

Doesn't matter. That is out of game. The goal of this is to replace the sketchy ingame map with the minimap instead so that you can view large portions of the minimap when you press M.

i actually liked the handdrawn-style map too much bf2 for me.
