haven't seen those two new sigs of yours John.
I agree with Rek. John please take Kevin's advice and learn the basics better. I'm not hattin' but i'm just helping you become a better designer.

I believe in that guy's final version, he added text in the exact same area that you did. I have to admit, yours turned out quite a bit better than mine, although I'm going to have to say that I don't think it's clear enough - your render is much too blended in. On top of that, like everyone else stated, the text is much too dark.
Other than that, it looks good. 7/10 from me.
