Heres the storyline of this bs right now.

I'm out to the soccer game for my school and before the game started, about an 30 minutes or so. My friend tells me to hold his phone and ipod for the game. Skip about another 30minutes or so to where the game is about 15minutes into gameplay. I let one of our friends hold my phone, my friend's phone and his ipod and so i toss around the football for like 15 minutes.. please note that he lets any of our friends use his cell/ipod. After were done with that, we took a short 20 minute break watching the game where i have both of our phones/his ipod back. A different friend of ours asked for his phone and so i gave it to her, and me and 2 of my other friends went cross the street to get some drinks. I come back to find that the game is over, everyone is still there and theres no commotion about the phone yet. So after all that out friend that now has the ( or so me and my other friends who know she had the phone last )phone leaves. After 5 minutes we start looking for the phone, called the friend who we assume had the phone last said she didnt have it. After 20 minutes of searching around the school track, we give up and my friend who lost the phone 's dad cuts the phone plan off. we all go home after that. Now just a few minutes ago my friend who lost the phone logs onto a instant messenger and tells me something he heard when he was talking to a officer who was at my school. He told me that the officer said I WAS RESPONSIBLE for the phone since my friend gave it to me to hold it last. My friend wants me to pay the 190 bucks to cover up for the phone asap. Its not official or anything, its just my friend.

remember that we both know the friend who we assume had it last since i gave it to her to hold lost the phone or some shit. the friend who we assume had it last said she dosent have a clue and that she gave it to one of out friends who was with me last.

It kind of makes since that i might be responsible for the phone since i had it first but hell, i dont really think i should be paying 100% for the phone cause of my friend's stupidity. my friend has his ipod but not his phone.

I really cant believe how such a STUPID thing can be blamed on me and i really cant believe it. tbh i think my friend( lost the phone ) can go fck off.

I really need opinions. sorry if i mistyped or anything but im too pissed off to really care.

In my country, u can tell your phone service provider that u lost the phone so they'll block that phone and recompensate u a new free one (need autorisation of the cops, of course :|)

- The eyes = way of truth. Look straight at her eyes and ask 3 times :"u didnt stole the phone, didnt u?". She looks away = guilty, she still have a straight look at u = innocent
- put your thumb onto the side of her neck and ask...

And since she helped to search for a couple of days,it would seem like she's innocent because she's aiding him. point being: She can constantly steer him into the wrong direction since she knows where the phone is or could be. Which will please her greatly,yet let's our friend here still pay for the missing phone.

Maybe if you guys who thought it was all my fault read the whole topic, i did admit it was partially my fault, but not entirely.

You are legally responsible for the phone. He specifically gave YOU the phone and you took responsibility. Just because you gave your friend the phone does not mean you passed liability to someone else. If it gets stolen or lost, you are still held liable for it. Pay up.
