About Remade Renders

Post by Evil_Venom »

Ok so I dont usualy render my own stuff and when I do i get that nice clean transparent background which is all I want from a render besides that it has to look good. But I run into problems when I get the premade ones. First of all becuase when I look at them they have white backgrounds and when I use them they turn black. Now that really isnt a big deal but then when I want to cut em out I use the magic wand tool and it f's it up. SO I was wondering how you guys get your renders cut out cleanly.

I get them from planet renders. Make sure they save as png and when you open it in PS they will have a transparent bg.

i rarely use renders anymore. but i got them at planet renders, when viewing the pic click again for max zoom and it isnt trans, just delete and find a new one. but i use complete pics with bg and i just smudge it out or erase lol.

lol :)

.. are you just right clicking>copy image> paste into Ps? If that's the case it will always have a black BG you have to save the image when you get them from PR or whatever. Then open it through "Bridge" or Ps itself. ^^

^ what hostage says.

the background turns black because the original file is a
*.gif or *.png or whatever, with no background (a transparent
background). these pixels get filled with black when you
copypasta the img.
