Help with Clipping Masks?

Post by lavapockets »

Ok, I'm really confused about the clipping masks. I've tried Rek's tut and Broken Saints tut and I do exactly what the instructions say, but my results are no where near the same. The c4d in BSnts tut doesn't disappear at all, it just looks like I've done nothing. And my dots in Reks tut also remain virtually unchanged. Is there a trick to these that I'm missing?

I can post screenies of what I mean when I get home...

You're supposed to move the image that is set to "Clipping Mask" around other wise you won't see a difference in appearance.
