What should I look for when I buy blades? like interms of how it fits and how comfortable they are how should I choose them?
If there are any local rollerblading shops near your area I would deffinately look into going in there and trying some on before you buy them. If you know anyone locally who rollerblades and may have some type of blades that are on that website than try them on.
All rollerblades will be uncomfortable at first to be honest. It is hard to get used to liners and some liners have neoprane socks which is akward at first.
How they fit..well most rollerblades fit true to size. Some may be tighter than other. Companies such as USD (Universal Skate Design), Roces, Valo all fit slimmer but they still fit true to size. Rollerblades such as, Remedyz (remz), Deshi, Razor, Rollerblade all fit wider on your feet but still true to size.
You also may find that some rollerblade companies such as Deshi, Razor, or Remz you can fit smaller. I am a typical size 9 shoe, but in remz/deshi/razor I can fit a 7-8.
Most boot molds and companies sell there blades in sizes like; 7-8 or 9-10. So if you get a size 9, it also may fit like a 10 because they are the same boot mold. So that is also something to watch for.
If you have no store to check out blades at I honestly would suggest going the route of Razors for your first skates. They are super sturdy, they deffinately give you a GREAT feel of what it is like to skate aggressive. They are insanely sturdy and they look amazing to boot.
There is also an alternative..This skate many people choose to stay away from because it is pretty weird to skate. But when I skated them I loved them. They are called Xsjado's, they are open toed boots. They sell the skate with a special shoe to wear while you skate them.
http://www.aggressivemall.com/Xsjado-Ch ... fii-pc.htmTheir sizes run differently however. They have a small and a large shell, small shell runs from sizes 5-9 I believe and large shell runs from 9-13. Honestly even if you are a size 10 shoe I would go for a small shell simply because they are less bulky and less clanky. That is if you decide to go this route.
But if you look at any other skates and think you like the way they look over anything I suggest, just let me know. I have skated pretty much every model out there, so I can give you an honest review on what you are buying.
Trice they can be called whatever lol.
