Re: rogue/warlock-tried and tested??
no... :S warlock isnt to increase survivability... you can't be using rogue skill while you are holding warlock rod
but it will help you kill what you need to
but it will help you kill what you need to

Re: rogue/warlock-tried and tested??
I have an 8x rogue/warlock, the lock sub serves to radicly increase dmg, how ever if stun fails then often thats the end for you, my gear isnt great tho, all 9th dg npc, personaly warrior/lock is better imo

The warlock doesn't really help besides stunning. If you're grinding, it's best just to use xbow and try to grind on mobs taht you can kill before they ever get to you. If they spawn on you though, tough.

Ehh they are good offensive force, but lack too much defense. I personally would choose warrior/ warlock over rogue/warlock since they already have self- defense to begin with

Re: rogue/warlock-tried and tested??
...Whoa...people don't know much about warlocks still?
Never played a lock before but I've read up on all the skills of all the classes so I can already tell you all of these people missed an important fact. There is a warlock debuff that will decrease the opponent's dmg. Meaning you will get hurt less. It's nowhere near the defense boost you get from the cleric sub, but that debuff, plus stun, plus the one that increases pot delay, plus drain, plus sleep....anyway...they help a ton for survival. The problem is that none of those except stun and drain will do you any good against holy word.
