How Important are friends in game?

well i noticed
that many of my friends have out leveled my grinding party [U know Euros, the ppl you usually grind with]
They only outlevel the core of the group by like 4-6 levels
and they leave us o_O
so that made me think
how important are you friends?
I for one will never leave my core group of friends in levelling
to me its friends > levelling and never partying with them again

but as a euro u tend to always party with them
and without them in your party while u grind its harder to communicate
especially when they are in a seperate union

Since everyone that I know bots, it helps to have friends who actually PLAY THE GAME to talk to while your guild and 98% of the server are zombies.

Without a dedicated friend(s) I think it's easy to quit from loneliness (Which I have done many times).

Same, specially if they don't talk to you all day because they are afk botting. Very, very annoying.

Edited: well all my freinds are lvl higher then me ~ they r 7x , 8x. 90% of the time i login to the game just to stall n talk to them

Like every friend, in SRO the friends are different too. I have higher lvl friends, i have lower lvl friends, i have people who level up faster and slower than me. That never stopped me from being or for them being my friends.
I have a lot of friends ingame, at least enought to always have someone to grind with. Some level faster than me - they have more time o play - no problem. When they make a big difference between my and their lvl, i will have a friend who could help me when i need it. When someone have less time than me - i don't have to wait for him, but when he got the time to play again - i will always be there to help them, to level them some time or whatever.
So i don't really have to choose between friends and levelling, and also - when my best friends in the game level faster, they give me strainght to chase them and level fast to get in party with them again...

I'm sorry if you didn't get my point....but i just woke up, and still haven't drink my coffee....so....whateveeer

It's way more fun when everyone hates you in the game, I hate people who just play mmorpgs to find friends or something else, I'm not playing to make friends, I'm playing to win, and most time I win with/cause my friends. I'm in the same guild almost since the server opened,1-2 friends are enough. It's very hard to find people who you can trust over the internet, every second player will screw your off, you're way better with 1-2 who you can trust than 20 who you can't.

Without friends lvling is almost impossible since it gets very boring sometime especially during farming periods.

I prefer to do leveling with friends so both are important, but after awhile you just play for your friends not the leveling.
