Internet disconnecting

My internet disconnects every half an hour and on bad nights every 5 mins. No1 in my house who uses the internet disconnects, ever. Anyone know what could be causing it and how to fix it?

Does tis happen only when u play with SRO or always....
If with SRO... most system specifications required.....
If without SRO and always... talk to ur ISP

So i keep disconnecting becoz my comp doesnt have the specs for sro?

He's asking if you mean only SRO is disconnecting or if everything stops working... like web pages and email.

If you are saying that only SRO stops working or keeps disconnecting, then that lets you know it's a problem with SRO and not your internet connection. Joymax's servers are in Korea and not all connections work the same. My connection to Joymax from work is fantastic because they use a very good connection between the USA and Korea... but my connection from home is terrible. I lag and get DCed all the time.

If you are saying that everything on the internet stops working, then that's another problem entirely. You may have to contact your internet service provider to solve that kind of problem.

Its not just my sro that disconnects, everything that uses the internet disconnects for some time too. Everyone in my house uses the same internet with no problem so i dont think calling my ISP will help much. I connect my laptop to a wireless router so maybe it might be the networking thingy?

do you connect wirelessly to play SRO? If that's the case then you're going to get a lot of dropped connections. If you connect wired, could be the router, the cable or even the network card might be dying on you. If no one else has a problem in the house and your connecting wired, it's mostly likely a hardware issue, or at least not an ISP issue anyway.

How much would it cost to have a network card replaced? I already tried moving closer to the router, using a cable and replacing the router but one of those worked.
