They kill chicken for food, which is the chicken's main purpose in life I believe. But fighting two chickens for fun is not really a good thing to watch. And it's against the law concerning cruelty to animals.

It's the kind of death not the death itself. I'm not an animal lover, i just hate watching people killing living stuff for the sake of killing it (be it other animals, plants or humans). Worse things happen in the world - but it doesn't mean we should look over everything else. One way (killing an animal for food) is for survival, and the animal feels little to no pain (instantly killed). The other is based on pure entertainment at the cost of the animal, and is of no gain to anyone. How about I put you against someone from the UFC, they are equipped with knives and you are naked - it's a fight to the death. It doesn't really matter though because people are being killed every day overseas and it's much more important to focus on that than some random guy and random fighter fighting to the death. It's pretty rare to die in an MMA fight nowadays unless it's underground. The referees are trained and they know when to stop a fight before brain damage occurs. And I'm pretty sure cocks are starved/tortured before they actually fight. 2 healthy cocks wouldn't fight each other.
