2h warrior with warlock sub class?

is this a good build? i know most 2h go cleric and 1h/warlock is a popular build, but with this build i would do massive amounts of damage, just thinking what you guys with experience can tell me. thx in advance.

yes they do hight damage with sub warlock but IMO thats only good in pvp cuz in GW FW u have low defence and if more than 2 or 3 attack u, u r dead (if u dont use iron mana skin).

u want own in pvp go sub warlock (most of the euros str are getting sub cleric then sub warlock dont help u a lot vs euros, but u can beat almost any chinece)
but for job fw and other stuff go sub cleric

well aoe stun will be very helpfull, warlock could very well over come the 2 hander's weaknesses, defense by stunning/ sleeping your enemies, even if out numbered at high lvl stun/ sleep get aoe

um... advanced reflect+2h reflect passive...
even without a lot of other skills, that's a lot of def...

remember with euro, def isnt how low damage you take is but how much damage you have to put out before other person dies... all euro pvp is based around killing them before pot delay kills you so anything that helps deal damage without you actually doing anything is def too

Yes, it is very good. It is as meritorious as a Warrior/Cleric.

Warlock is a great help against euros as well (not as good as against chinesee-agreed). You have advanced reflect(!), stun, panic, slumber. You are a 7x warlock, give us more detailed info.

well see, as i said almost all euro full str hight lvl get sub cleric that mean holy word<.< then the only skills that a warlock can use against full str sub cleric is stun wheel blind(increase pot delay) and advanced reflect, then that can be a long fight and i dunno who will win jeje, vs full int no need of warlock cuz they got low hp = attack with warrior and he died fast, vs chineces is easy too most of the time cuz they almost dont have buff against debuff, i can beat a chin full str that have 5 lvl more than me and the nukers is the almost the same, vs chin nuker yes warlock cuz they got a fast pot dealy vs euro no need ^^ (depend of the gear too)

IMO sub warlock is for pvp and job too
sub cleric also good in pvp, and is more helpfull in 8 ppl party, FW and these stuff cuz is not easy in FW debuff 1 enemy and kill him to go and debuff another one and kill...
with sub cleric you just rush them (in the case of 2h cuz got good damage)

1h/cleric = unbeatable! but slow in kill--dunno video

just to answer this, yes is good build it pwn^^

i recomend u if u are a low lvl go sub bard cuz that help u lvl up, all pts want a bard cuz the guard tambour thats like get plvl, when u hight lvl go sub warlock deleting sub bard

well i did some more reading and talked to some people in game. also tested a few builds. I decided to go 2h/cleric. I know this build is very popular, but I would like to be able to FW and fight well in groups, and I feel that warlock sub would not be as effective with that. Also with 2h/cleric I am very well rounded and good for parties (PARTY PLAY FTW). 2h/warlock is just too offense focused and i need defense too. THanks for hte help everyone.

later when i hit lvl 90 ill have 1h/2h full farmed, i enjoy the warlock in pvp is very fun and usefull and when i hit 80 ill c how i do with the advance reflect, if i dont like it i think ill switch to sub cleric but not sure

1h/lock is better.

shield crush gives dull with 80% knock back, with the dull cunning stab gets 50% power increase.
With debuffs and wheel bind, you kill every chinese in two skills, then the hidden trap's skull explodes for almost 7k at 80 cap and its death for sure.

not only can you kill people in 2-3 skills after wheel bind and debuffs (and the trap exploding), but you always have a shield out.

and you don't have to worry about your own knockbacks interrupting your skills, the 2 strongest 2handed skills are bash and daredevil, and they accumulate to a possible 3 knockbacks that get really annoying since u gotta keep closing the gap between you and the enemy.

2hand also has ridiculously annoying knockdown/back glitches, where the opponent spazzes out and somehow still hits you and is able to stun you while laying down on the ground. Your down attack damage is also sometimes not calculated when this happens.

with 1hand, cunning stab and daring berzeker is good enough, and if you do need knockback shield crush is 80% chance, what more can u ask for when that knockback alone happens so frequently and gives you great distance to cast disease followed by debuffs with stuns.

also, 1hand has almost-instant skills. 2handed has daredevil which has like a one second cast time when another lock can easily stun you, a blader/swordsman can knock you down, etc. Then you don't have ur shield out, and if u wanna take out a shield AND keep your skins youll have to change to 1hand/shield anyway so they won't disappear.

sure you have 2hand's damage return passive and warlocks advance reflect, but to make most of that you'd actually have to be getting hit by a decent amount cuz it's not 120% reflect yet, u gotta wait for later caps for that. By then, dormancy/stun/disease tabs could be here and there, but who knows.

honeslty, a 2handed cleric can kill anyone. A 1handed/cleric can't, which is why it needs the warlock sub. Why go 2handed/lock, that's kinda stupid and it doesnt look pro at all. To me it screams out inconfidence, do you really think you can't kill everyone with the 2hand alone? you can double crit a full sun chinese ffs.

^^well, if you read my previous post it said that I am going 2h/cleric now. I was just wondering if 2h/warlock was a possibility because I wanted to play around and make a different build I guess. I started off as a 1h/warlock but after pvping a bit I had fun but I see that this build is limited in a group pvp setting. I'd have to debuff and then attack if I want to kill in job wars and stuff, which would be hard. As opposed to 2h/cleric, where I can go cleric, cast my holy spell and bless, go back warrior, cast warrior buffs and run in swinging. They also seem better suited for party play and hunting (two things I love). I'm kind of upset though cuz there everyone and their mother is a 2h/cleric but they remind me of glaive user and I find my chinese character fun.

EDIT: I did some sp calculating for my 2h/cleric and I will need 500k-550k sp depending on whether I get every skill i want. Now, I'm farming right now and want to stop at 300k sp. Do you guys think I can get the other 200k-250k sp from just lvling up as usual?

yes you get 230k from 1-90 on a 0 gap.
