90 Cap Glavie Build question

Hello People,

I was wondering what i should do with my glavier for 90.
What im thinking of is:

90 heuksal / 90 fire / 60 light / 60 cold

Would that be any good u guys think ?

Or should i do the "standard" 90 heuksal / 90 fire / 90 light / 30 cold ?

Also... what u guys think about 90 heuksal / 90 fire / 90 cold / 30 light ? (in theory it would own vs other STR based builds)

you dont really need cold!

only people that might want to get cold is bladers for pure tankage ^^

Well, the 90/90/60/60 build definitely requires less farming than the standard 90/90/90/30 build. That's a fact. 60 cold doesn't make THAT much of a difference, and 60 light still brings about decent mobility. The build would function allright, and would be an easier way out of the massive farming required to max 3 masteries.

Maxing cold, fire and heuksal? I don't know. It would do indeed well against other STR builds, but immagine an INT constantly ghost walking and nuking you. You'd be dead in the water without drugs of speed. And even then, ghost walking gives the enemy a great advantage in mobility. If you do want to max three masteries, instead of a 90/90/60/60 build, then go for maxed lightning, fire and heuksal. 20% snow shield would do good enough.

Hmm never really thought of the ghostwalk nuker thing, indeed i wont be able to hit/get to them at all without light (or 30 light).

What is worth more ?

60 cold for defense or 90 light for speed/parry ?

Because if 60 compared to 30 cold doesnt really make that much difference in phy def, its better to go 30 cold and 90 light imo instead of 60/60.

90 light beats 60 cold.
You already have enough str to protect you.
In the least bring light up to 72 and ice at 48.

of course u need cold as full str. eg cold maxed at lvl 80 cap, it's like u wear sosun garm oder even sosun pro. i got it maxed and my gears and accessories only at +4 and nobody can kill me, unless he got sosun weapon. but the problem at 90 is, that u have to face the trade-off concerning ur masteries. the advantage of lightning respectively phantom is too big to give it up. therefore im gonna max light and let cold at 30 for snow shield.

to kill a glaiver, one must be able to outtank it. Thats hard when youve got max fire and max cold.

if someone ghostwalks all over you, they wont be able to kill you. Once they ghostwalk you have pot-time. And if an int does it, their ghostwalk would prob be maxed, theyll have to run towards you to nuke afterwards cuz ghostwalks range > nukes range.

Won't a light/cold/fire nuker be able to kill a glaiver just by nuking (and outrunning) him? Look at the balance of chinese nukes at later caps. In certain videos, nukers 2-shot other STR builds, as in:

EDIT: I'd rather play full STR bow with max cold and fire than full STR glaive.

I think ill go light 90 ice 30 (also known as cold MrFudge ) But im really not sure
I like the idea of havin alot of phy defence vs other STR based builds.

Ahhh i do remember you! My memory is a lil bit (very) affected by 10 years of cannabis
I quit a few weeks ago so it should come back to me more clearly hehe.
I presume it was with my hacked/stripped character x_Piles_x. (in case u din't know, some SLAVYANE dickhead, beral, got my info from the leaked account list since i did not know me SA and couldnt change my password, and stripped my whole account clean w00t. That was a lil' downer there )

pure str only needs 60.. even hybrids.

I say go 60 light/ cold. (use typhoon drugs if you must, 19m grasswalk is enough)

As for people saying 60 light. Well keeping it at 60 would be a bad idea. Because everyone else is going to max it out. The little difference will give others the upper hand. They will be faster. Speed is key in this game for a chinese.
Typhoon drug can get very expensive if you buy too many. They don't last long either.

i say 60light/60 ice
euro characters still do really high damage. With 60 ice youd have better protection...

90 light vs 60 light
90 light gives 3% more mag attake.
and 3.5m phantom more.
and a little bit of parry.

3% mag attake for a pure str is nothing!
with 60 light you still have high phantom.
and parry ratio you can just add on your gears...

and less farming

Pff im still havin a dilemma

Im going cold/light 60/60 for now, saves me alot of sp farming for one.
A collegue of mine at work is going cold 90/light 30, but he aint 90 and farmed yet.
Im going to awaite his input when hes farmed with 90 cold, if it rox ill do it to.
If not, im going 90 light 30 cold. Keepin it 60/60 for now, saves me deleveling both sides since i still dunno what to take

im lvl 89 max pure str glaiver and 30 ice build with max skils and it suits me fine for 1on1 pvp, my gear is pretty crap (still using 8d jewels) but archers and glaivers cant kill me, but im sure the sun users will own me, only bladers can kill me if i cant pill their statuses. as for getting gangbanged well thats wat maxed ghostwalk phantom is for, i wear protectors so im not that slow either. ints who use max snow shield are annoying but they are same as killing another chinese str char all u need is emperor and/or ghost spear storm to crit and they are dead.

Guess Babel has some good players then

Many glaviers in Poseidon taking 90cold, some bows too. You get 264 more phydef from cold90 so yeah it shows up

But 60light/60cold is good choice too.
