Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro HALP!

Ok, I have a school project, and I want that the music sounds get lower and lower in the end(like as pictures fade out), but problem is, how to do this? =/
Is this possible with sony vegas, or do I need another program?

Hope you guys understand me, because english is a 'foreign' language to me.

1)use adobe audition and select the part of the song you want to have the fade out (it's really simple and easy to use)
2)import audio file to your sony vegas project
3)???
4)profit.
