Re: job interview
Your first impression is the most important. Don't come into the room looking like a fool or nervous. I read that first impression greatly helps employers choose the people. You need look smart and confident and act like you know what your doing

+1 taking it too seriously
You're obviously not going to work at a fast food restaurant for the rest of your life. Consider this interview a "warm up", and when a far bigger interview comes around, let this one serve as a learning experience.

There's a BIG difference between Fast Food Joint and a resteraunt!

Not really. Unless you're in management or cooking.

Re: job interview
I can only assume you're applying to be a waitor. In which case, yes you should be confident, but remember - a restaurant is supposed to be all about the chief. They like their waitors to be quiet, smart and timely. Also waitors should be very polite. The majority of the job depends on how good your mannors are. So, keep your answer short. Walk tall. Be extra polite. But don't come across as overconfident, because the chief certainly wont like to be outclassed!
Hope that helped. Good luck mate.

Re: job interview
At the end of your interview, just tell him/her that you want the job.
They'll remember it, my marketing teacher was Chief Executive of Reeds watches and he told me he always remembered people who just spoke up that they wanted the job.
And agent, hook a brotha up with a job in wilmington nc?
