HELP PLZ my sro screen crashes!!!

the game screen freezes but the game is still running even the mouse cursor points to the stalls in the towns and when i press ALT it turns to a little sword (u kno to PK sumone)
when i use ALT+TAB the other programs still work like the internet explorer (the only thing i have running while playin) PLZ HELP RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!!!

here i even took a screenshot of the game when its frozen (its all black!!!)

i have windows xp bought it about a year ago DELL latest ATI graphic card thingy...
direct x 9.0
verizon FiOS internet service (35 MB per second)
intel pentium 4 3.00 GhZ 512 MB of ram...

try installing latest drivers for your graphics card and installing windows updates to start, but chances are this is something to do with you graphics card.

i have the latest ATI graphic driver and the windows updates are to be checked every day at 3 AM
it was already like that... i looked in the post that cin wrote that was a sticky and one of them said i needed the screenshot folder in the silkroad folder which i didnt have.... i would try it on the game except i cant log in to see if the black screen keeps happening
