keep ur masteries (heuk, fire, light, ice) 9 lvls below u and then kill monsters that u can kill easily and respawn quickly. Ongs are lvl 33-34 (I think) monsters in Smarkand .

First off i believe theres a post with all definitions somewhere, but im too lazy to find for you so i'll tell you.
a gap is basically the difference between your highest mastery and your current level. so if your glaive is lvl 17 and ice is lvl 15 and fire is lvl 16 then the lvl 17 glaive mastery will be your highest mastery. Then the difference between your current level which is 17 and your highest mastery which in this case is 17 then you have a 0 gap. But if you were to leave all skills at lvl 17 and level up to 23 then you'd have a 6 gap. However a 9 gap is the largest gap you can have.
As for why he recommends this, it's because the larger the gap the more sxp you get compared to xp. meaning you'll level slower but recieve mroe sp per level.
So since youd have a large gap, youd get more sxp than xp and as you c ontinue to grind or get power leveled this is how you farm sp.
He recommends 7 levels lower and not 9 since you'd have to delvl all your skills in order to get the 9 gap you might as well leave it where it is and just 7 gap. hope i helped

as for delvling masteries lvl 20 + get an infinitely repeatable quest to collect curst hearts from the herbalist or pot seller in each town. they turn the curst hearts into recessitation potions which can be used to edit your skills and delvl. as for grindin its more of a matter of preference now. in the past people would stay at bandits den for a few months to farm all the sp they need. but now i have no clue
