Need to Update my comp

But anyways i was jw if any1 reading this would know say i bought 4 gigs of ram and bought ehm 2 video cards to put in my comp should it get rid of all my lag in cities etc because my net is fast enough just think the vid card and ram is lacking dont know the exact specs i have 2.0G of ram right now but the comp is about 5-6 years old. If anyone could suggest a good vid card that would be great or 2 smaller vid cards. and lastly would it just be easier to by a whole new C Drive all together and just destroy the whole hard disk. if ur comp is 5-6 years old then i suggest u just get a whole new computer. for a vid card i have a nvida geforce 8800 gts which works very well, but just do some looking for yourself and what you are look for via price range or capabilities.
