85% refers to your Magical Balance.

Steady is a blue that you can add to gear that'll prevent the dreaded red stat that lowers durability.

Immortal is also a blue on gear, it prevents the item from being destroyed during alchemy when you try to + it higher than +4

As said above 85% is character balance. Press C in game to see your balance. If you have any str or int on any of your gear your balance will be affected. So....Take off all gear with int on it and aim for 85%. Or just get Naked

Yes 85% naked magic balance will make you a strong character. However many people prefer characters with a higher balance they will tell you to aim for 90% or higher. I will tell you that 80% is a really good build as well.

The bottom line is they all have there pros and cons. It just is personal preference. DO NOT get swayed by people who say you will suck being hybrid. Read Mkarru old knockdown nuker guide in the link left by Ningyotsukai-san. It is outdated on some new skills but its a good guide for hybrids. There are other good guides in there I am sure. The first guide is written by me. Its a good read, but a little complicated for beginners. Make sure you read the introduction about how int and str relate to damage. It is critical to being a successful hybrid.

Go here click on the head icon. Make sure you raise the lvl and distribute the points. You can add extra points for int and str on your gear as well. It might not react how you would expect.
