Mini nukes

Im a ~2.5 to 1 int hybrid, and I was wondering if I should use the mini nukes. I hadn't up until now, but was thining bout it and wanted to get some opinions. Also is there a fire one, cause I've never seen it?

Mininukes are weak, but can clear out some low level meat fast. They're handy, but IMO, not worth maxing.

Assuming you mean Lion Shout, then I would say yes get them. They're good for just quickly finishing off things at range, as opposed to running up and whacking them with your spear/standing there waving your arms around like an idiot for 2 seconds til you can fire off your nuke again.

Also, they make a very nice combo when fighting giants - nuke, nuke, lion shout, then your imbue runs out, so you can activate it just as your next nuke is casting. Makes a nice, mana efficient and deadly chain.

Yea i did mean Lion Shout. Wouldn't that render my spear skills useless then?

spear and any other weapon is usless for a nuker, its just there to add the extra magical damage, i strongly agree with every bit of sence in my body that you should max the whole shout seriese, a nuker just cant hold the title nuker without them, they make powerfull\quick\mana efficient ways of finishing off weak mobs or mobs with only a little health left, and if you have both heaven shout (second book of lion shout seriese) and lion shout, and your helping a low lvl friend do a trade run, you can 2-hit thieves with them with out waiting for your nukes to cast and charge again

thunder bolt + flying dragon,+shock loin shout +ghost spear

one of but many skill combo's to be made . i dont see why taking lion shout series would effect your spear skills at all

Book one of lion shout = 2m range
Book one of ghost spear = 2m range

ghost spear [MP cost + damage [with imbue]] > lion shout [MPcost + damage [with imbue]]
