DSL Problems

I just got this earthlink dsl and from like 7am till evening it's not useable because of constant resyncing and when it does come on its very LAGGY. Then at night till morning it's rock solid and super fast. Does anyone have any experieence with dsl and could give me an idea of what the problem could be? If the telephone lines were bad...wouldn't the connection be crap all the time?

have you called them up and told them this?
i'm sure they will be able to help more than us.

I use sbcglobal and it sucks, kind of like yours

sometimes it works well and sometimes its really slow. Also sometimes when I click on the shortcut link on my desktop, it doesn't even bother to open up the internet

The tech support sucks. They are outsourced to india and all they do is tell you to reset your modem and restart your computer everytime. you can tell they have no idea wtf they are doing.

But i will call for a tech tomorrow.

NEVER get earthlink dsl, they completely suck
I got that a few years ago and when I subscribed, turns out there tower o w/e was down, so I had to wait 2 months
Then after it was usable the server was always down, those people are shit
