No mercernaries anymore?

ok i was reading in this forums and i found a thread (or amybe it was a post, i dont remember correctly) that said we cant use mercenaries anymore. i haven't seen anyone use mercenaries in Odin either (ingame). so we can't use mercanaries anymore? or can we?
plz tell me cause if we can use mercs, i will open a guild

You can't use them anymore. They've been removed.

some say its because of fortress war...... some say becuase of ppl using for jobs...but why are they removed becuase of them...we should not be allowed to use it for fortress war and jobbing but we can use it for everything else... well... i neva bought any anyway

its to hard to program restrictions into use of items under
certain situations like being able to sell anything you have in your
inventory. way to go gaymax you win again
soon we will probably be able to buy merc with silk
thats why im voting for best game company
