Ignore monster defense...

Hello everybody, well i was wondering what is this magic option Ignore monster defense 1% probability? is it like the name says only concern monsters and has nothing to do with pvp only pve?
so far i granted 5% attack rating, HP150, damage 5% inc (pure str)
so i wonder if the final option should be str or that monster defense

but i took 1 str over 150hp

i got it on my level 74 rogue and i pwn gotta love when you hit mobs level 80 for mega dmg

1% mob def for sure. 1% of your hits will completely ignore the mob's defence, which is effectively "1% of your hits KO whatever mob it is" (and severely fudges giants pt mobs etc)

good if you use chains/glaive/bow/xbow/daggers/warrior
nice if you are a nuker thats grinding brown or red or generalness
useless if you are a wizzy. useless i tells ya useless!

i dont think you ppl know exactly what it is first of it doesnt make the mobs def go to 0 it just takes of 1% of his def while u fight him thats all imo not worth getting

No you dont know what it is..its proven that it removes the defense 1% of the time. so you would hit on any mob the dmg you would do on like a mangyang or even greater.

You can hit like 299k now to a mangyang with full sun set if you are lucky.

One Word: OverKill Much rather get the extra hp or str...

wizzies one hit KO all mobs a few lvls above them (pretty much) chinese nukers dont, and thats why they are able (to some extent) to tank mobs (pot delay, snow shield etc).

It sure DOES work. At lvl 41 I was doing about 1-2k dmg on a Mujigi party giant with Strong Bow and one of my crits came up at nearly 11k... which is about what I was critting on Mangyangs.

IIRC giants have 15x the HP of a normal mob. Normal nachals have 8,603 HP.

It must be nice to be a rogue and run up to a pt giant with dagger desperate on (yes, I know it's a little insane) and use prick and.... BAM!!! Ignore monster defence AND critical, congratulations, you just 1 hitted a party giant 10 levels higher than you, you gain 3 billion experience points!
