Should I?
Friend gave me his WoW account...still has 2 months on it.. Should I try it out? I promised myself I would focus on swimming and quit games..but...what a waste 2 MONTHS!!
The account has a lvl 27 paladin...Should I start a new character or continue with the Paladin?
I also wanna try America's Army if anyones played that..[/i]

Much easier to have a life and play WoW than have a life and play SRO imo.
Capping in a month and just donig what you find fun after that instead of grinding for hours every day for exp/sp/gold.
+1.
yup the only reason people think otherwise is because wow is so popular its on the news more. SRO is far more consuming

i think that the hype of WoW is way overrated - I played it for like, a week
got a char to lvl 15 or 16 and was bored, the thing with WoW is there is absolutely no community in it, and easily tires!
America's Army on the other hand is fkin awesome - I would advise any1 to try it and, unless ur not an fps fan, if u dnt like it then ur gay lol

1-15/16=.01% of the game.
Not like there's much of a SRO community either...
I'm in your posts, stealing your quotes.

nuh uh dont play americas army. Unless you have great internet, downloading will have you pulling your hair out. And you also need a great computer to play it on good graphics. For the time spent on installing and playing AA, I'd go and buy call of duty 2 instead

I have to agree with the download thing, I have a pretty fast connection and it took me two hours. The graphics though, they aren't so bad.
If downloading is a problem you can request a disk is sent to you.

yes but it is very strategically based game play. Your best bet is to stay in the newbie servers for a while. If you don't, you will be so utterly destroyed you may feel compelled to sell your pc. I know I wanted to >.<

yes, the learning curve is hard. If your looking for run and gun and fast paced action then dont play AA because its boring and some of the maps are so goddam big you'll find yourself walking for 15 min before getting your head blown off by some hardcore player.
play the multiplayer I doubt you'll like it though

NO DONT!!!
Waste 2 months of your life somewhere else. WoW doesn't get fun until endgame content, and since you don't have enough money for a levelling guide, you won't know how to get lvl 70 in 1 month, and will therefore be a huge waste of boring time grinding.
Granted, if your idea of fun is clicking and pressing F keys, go ahead. Try a warlock, they are the most overpowered class, and by far the most in depth and complicated. 'Fun' all the way.
fyi, as a warlock, you will never be beaten in a duel after lvl 10. Ever. Ever. Ever.
