Server Connection

Hey there

Well I'm new to Silkroad Online, downloaded it today and just started playing. I'm having a really hard time trying to connect to servers as every single one is full and I can never get in to any of them. I managed to get into one earlier and leveled a character to 7 so far but now I can't get in again to continue playing. I was just wondering, is it always like this? And if so, are Joymax not doing anything to get it sorted out as it's rather annoying when the client has to keep being restarted. It's kinda putting me off playing the game if this connection issue is going to be a big problem.

Well, the game is free to play, and to be honest, infested with bots which take about 70% of the server population.

The only way to get around server traffic is try again, again and again, or buy a premium ticket for $20 a month where you get premium access without server traffic, or hope for a miracle for Joymax to start banning bots.

its always crowded. u always hav to play at night or wait till it gets populated

Hmmmm, the fact that 70% of the game is bots and that the servers are always crowded meaning the only options are to play at night or bide my time for a spot to become free has kinda put me off the game and I may try and find another F2P MMO tbh.

Well if you go with the newer servers (the one tagged with NEW) you can login first try in the morning, living in the UK

Everyone hates the server traffic.

to get in without traffic you will need to buy a premium, which allows you to access the game anytime. unfortunately, they only last a month and its quite pricey :l

and the game is filled with bots. it would pretty much be impossible to level at later levels for you ..
and you might want to read guides about farming etc .. lots of things you will need to know.

eh, if you want an easy server to get into, try mercury, its almost always open, just the reason i don't paly there is the community there is kinda lame, venus has the coolest community right now, but very hard to log onto. But if you time it right you can usually get in pretty easily, it really is a good game despite is managment problems

Its a problem at greece, people are playing ALL the time!
I try at night, morning, noon and evening, but nothing, they play too much! I can bet that most of them wearing fr1ck1n glasses!
