How can Joymax still pride themselves after...
How can Joymax still pride themselves after...these following mistakes.
No not botting or spamming, which are big problems in themselves.
Or how can they still operate with the self-delusional belief that they know what
there doing after all these huge mistakes.
1= on the old forum by quoting someone you could obtain that persons
user name, and from then on "hack" that person account...JM said this was
the users fault and took no responsibility for this.
2= JM recently have had to remove large sections of their own website due
to HUGE security risks (i.e) users still able to gain other users information
instead of solving this problem JM do what they have done 3 times before. That
is to wipe/lock sections of the forum, not a good sign when they cannot even
maintain their own website
3= Around 1 1/2 years ago some people hacked the JM GM's accounts and
created what can only be called complete mayhem on the servers, spawning
low lvl monsters around Hotan, high lvl around Jangan and random unique
spawning were the tip of the ice berg in what was 2 weeks of chaos.
4= JM own forums were hacked...this time with a poster posting a official
announcement on the main silkroad website criticizing JM for not caring for
its customers...this turned JM into a laughing stock as they once again
proved that they could not ever stop their own systems being hacked yet
expect us to have faith in them.
5= JM decided to show the users that GM's did in fact exist by having them
walk around the in game world....unfortunately for the GM's almost every
user who was within range tried to kill their character...a foolish act because
at lvl100 (at the time) the GM's could not be killed. Now the GM's after being
attacked for one week went back to...well where ever they are, but in a petty
turn they banned all those who tried to kill them.
So after these mistakes how can JM still pride themsevles on this game
when its been nothing but disaster after disaster?

This happened? Damned and I still didn't play the game that time... nobody have a video or something that show this?
The best that I remember was the godly unique_kill_die_spawn_rigth_away, some time ago

"They will be slain under the AKU SOKU ZAN (Slain Evil Imediately)"
Hot_like_Hel -> Isro (lvl 7x)
GatotsuPro -> Tsro (lvl 5x) ->IP BANNED
GatotsuPro -> Ksro (3x)

They made a great game so why can`t they be proud of it?
Yes there are **** ups but no one can be perfect and in my opinion any free to play game out there has its status due to the community playing it
blame us for creating these kind of problems
any system is there to be abused some people will always find a way to hack/crack things, look at world of warcraft (since that is the major game out there) still bots available they do get banned if caught but that is not a thing you can expect from a small company like Joymax.
Consider Joymax as a company that still has to learn a lot, the management of Joymax is simply bad and the way they sometimes deal with problems is terrible, they probably never imagined when they created Silkroad that it will end up in being this huge they got overwhelmed and could not handle it.
They are learning maybe the hard way but they are.

honestly I don't understand what you mean by that, anyways I apologize, after going through all those bot threads then seeing another rude comment I think I temporarily lost my mind

you guys are so Farking picky.
this is my first mmo, probably one of the only two video games i play right now along with super smash bros melee [im 19...so dont think wah hes too old to play or wah hes too young.] ..im not a huge gamer
but just play the damn game and if you dont like it leave..
nothings stopping you.
and it sounds like joymax's fuck-ups gives a bit of history to the game, it at least makes it a little interesting.

while there have been obvious problems, maybe they can pride themselves because people ARE still playing, and that in itself is a major accomplishment. obviously you don't realize the vast number of games that never even get out of beta testing because of dysfunction and lack of user interest.
i wouldn't call a wildly popular global game "nothing but disaster after disaster", but that's just me.
joymax has created a HUGELY popular game, and has kept it running for a couple years. what have you done that measures up, and how can you say they don't deserve to have some bit of pride about the whole thing?
of course, if you happen to be the CEO of Blizzard, disregard this completely, because you have an educated opinion. but otherwise....

Well JM did not create a hughly popular game...and the only reason that this
game has lasted these 3 years now (international version) is due to new users
and ban of Vietnam (like the turks but 100 time worse) from the international
game.
I mean explain why people leave? its a bad game, but as people leave its
replaced by new users who have no idea how bad it is and also keep in
mind that more then 60% of all users are bots anyway.
