After seeing the number of guides and information I have been through, I'm deciding to go hybrid.
I'm currently a full str level 15 bow with fire. I'm thinking of going 1:1 hybrid with ice but wanna ask people around if they have the same experience of making a high level 1:1 ice bow.

DO NOT GO PURE INT WITH A BOW!!! That is probably the worth thing you can possible do. If you want to go bow I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccommend going either pure STR or 2STR:1INT. Seeing as a bow user is mainly str putting in too many int points will really kill your character.
This is a game, You're invited. www.lost.eu/572c4

mana drain DOES suck - but not enough to deal with the pure int bow.... bow attacks are mainly str based so you will be shooting yourself in the foot if you go too much int.... trust me, i had the great idea to go pure int ice bow a while back. i can say that at early lvls it was AWESOME! but once you start getting into stronger mobs that are strength and not to mention PvP you will realize you wish you had more attk power and hp
Plus, since both magical and physical damage are both actually factored into damaging, doesn't it make more sense to exploit both to the fullest?
If the character tends to use skills only on force, or only on weapon, then it makes sense to only have everything into one side. But he's missing out on the potential damages on other ends also.
A hybrid has 70% to 75% magical and physical balance.
That percentage is multiplied into the damages that the character pumps out. A pure character has about 90% on one side, 40% on the other side.
Percentage wise, they are much lower when applying damages on both sides together.
And since hybrid characters have more mana, it helps on both ends, both force and weaponary also. More high powered attacks also, instead of normal attacks.

Thanks man! Actually I just tried out bow til level 17. I'm finding it weird that I'm needing to fight enemies point blank
Damage sure is great with fire, but the main reason for bows was to fight ranged.
Should have gone ice and such to make sure the enemies stays ranged. I'm thinking of restarting and going spear, as seeing the number of times I'm getting mobbed due to sudden spawns left and right. Attacking everything is also a better idea.
Hybrid seems like a good idea, as I found out about how the damages are factored in and that the mag balance and physical balance is actually factored into damages. I thought it meant the stability of the character, rofl
