I have the newest nero suite (TPB ftw) and I use DVDSanta to burn AVI to DVD with one click.

If they're AVI format, I would recommend DVDSanta. It's a lot simpler than nero to burn avi to dvd. You just add media files, click burn to disk. It will automatically convert them, do all the chapters and stuff, and burn.

However, if they're ISO (dvd iso?) or DVD format, nero would be better.

Nero

But i have a dvd player that for some reason doesnt read .avi files when burnt on nero so i use Power Producer, when you use power producer, it will let you play the movie on any dvd player as long as it has cd-r playback or w.e. However it will require more space of course, two 4.7gig cds will work for a movie lol.

well, if you have svideo in your tv n laptop/pc, you can use svideo and a
audio cable that goes from one output to red+white. if your tv does not have
svideo, you should either go from svideo to video (in case your pc/laptop has
got svideo) or just take a video-video cable :)
