The only reason a character who can only function as a pure, or extremely light hybrid would have for taking cleric is offering, which isnt a very good one.

Cleric is a class for strength builds.

Reason one - Even with light armor as an intelligence heavy class you will die from lucky crits and multi-agro.

Reason two - If you're the only healer in a group and experience reason one, your group is all pissed; not always at you and always at different degrees :)

Reason three - Heals are calculated based off of the weapon, not intelligence. In a party where the STR build is healing all he needs is a bard.

Which leads me to the most reasonable class out of those you listed, bard.
Why?

You can choose whether you want only noise and moving march, or the ability to support a party. You control the SP farm, it doesnt control you. ;)

^^^^^^Noise :) Will save your robe wearing butt alot.
^^^^^^Moving March :) +run speed pt buff/self buff. Run faster = grind faster.

Rogue is a no go! Cmon man you already got invisibility as a wizard!
:banghead:

If I were making a pure damage animal, I would make a warlock/wizard. Debuff+Nuke = If you thought spear nukers did damage...lol do I have a story for you XD

Cleric is NOT for str builds......first of all, all the buffs u do with a cleric will disapere as soon as u switch weapons.
Second, dont expect to be a healer ROFL, u dont ahve enough mana to spam heal.

Cleric is not a very good sub class for the main reason....u cant keep your buffs and use your main tree. So unless you wana be labeled as "res bytch" cleric is a no no.
@topic starter, a cleric is nice since your pure int, but the buffs dont last, so u can choose between a cleric or wizard in situations, but not both. If u want to benefit from 2 classes all the time, then go for the bard.

yeah it seems i have decided to take bard

my reason for choiceing

clerk - buffs only work when i am waring clerk staff
warlock- i need to kill mobs in 1 hit and i solo mostly so i dont need dot
rogue- it kind of like a tank and i dont like getting hit nor bringing hp pots

so bard because faster speed and enemies cant att me as much so thanks to those that gave me there help thanks ppl

*quoting myself from a topic that is about the same as this one*

Micheeels wrote:I'd say bard. With Noise general monsters don't attack you. Party don't attack you too, only giants and champions. With Moving March you can run faster from giants (:P) and with Mana Cycle you can get your mana bar back to full in just a few seconds. These 3 skills all stay when you switch back to staff.

Also I don't see the point in healing yourself, 'cause with life control on (and you'll grind mostly with life control on) you'll always die in 1-2 or maybe 3 hits. You'll have to heal almost every hit then.. and with bard you don't, 'cause mobs won't attack you (except giants and champs, I know, but with Moving March running away shouldn't be a problem).
Yarr!

cleric or bard, cleric is 100% more justifyable since your pure int than all these people trying to say to go cleric as a str sub class...zzzz. But u need to realise, most sub classes lose benefit because u lose most of the buffs and passives when your weapon changes, however having the felxibilty as pure int wizard to go to a cleric is nice. You will do some dmg, be able to heal people, and buff people very well. Youll be loved...just for the love of god, do not go cleric with a pure str >.<
